JumpFly Gives Back

JumpFly is a forward-thinking company that is committed to corporate social responsibility. Every quarter, JumpFly chooses a different charity that its employees can volunteer at or donate monetarily to help the cause. The company believes in the power of continuous and diverse impact, recognizing that there are a lot of deserving, important causes that deserve attention and support. Choosing a different charity each quarter allows the company to adapt its philanthropic efforts to address pressing issues and contribute meaningfully to different aspects of the community’s well-being.

This commitment reflects JumpFly’s core values, emphasizing inclusivity, empathy, and a sense of responsibility towards the broader community. JumpFly aims to be a positive force for change by actively engaging with a wide range of causes that align with its mission and values.

Further, JumpFly recognizes that societal challenges are multifaceted and ever-evolving. The charity selection also fosters employee engagement and collective purpose within the company. It encourages staff members to voluntarily participate in a variety of charitable activities and enables them to contribute to causes that resonate personally with them or even ones that they may have never heard of. It also has the added benefit of giving employees a chance to work with employees from different departments that they may not interact with on a daily basis, which fosters employee team building.

Some of the Charities that JumpFly Has Sponsored:
  • The D300 Food Pantry serves the families and employees of Community Unit School District 300, the sixth-largest school district in the state of Illinois. As long as a family has a child 18 or under who lives in the D300 school district or is employed by the district, they qualify to shop weekly at the food pantry. JumpFly sponsored a monetary donation, conducted a food drive, and volunteered at the pantry.
  • Sandy’s Stockings makes sure underprivileged children have stocking stuffer items for when they wake up on Christmas morning. JumpFly sponsored a monetary drive, donated 250 stockings, and collected additional stocking stuffers, as well as volunteered at Sandy’s Stockings to fill stockings.
  • Lemons of Love helps cancer patients make it through chemo comfortably by providing care packages with candy, port pillows and other comfort items. JumpFly employees donated monetarily as well as assembled care packages in the JumpFly office.
  • Oscar Mike is a veteran-run charity helping injured veterans stay active. Funds are raised through apparel sales. The JumpFly team purchased apparel and were encouraged to wear red on Fridays to support the military and disabled veterans.
  • Over the Edge 4 Girl Scouts helps raise money for the Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois. Several employees, including the JumpFly President, HR Manager, and CTO, rappelled down an eight-story building for charitable donations – JumpFly raised $2,500!
  • Feed My Starving Children donates MannaPack meals (food packs) to underprivileged areas across the US and the world. JumpFly’s 39 volunteers packed 11,128 meals at our area location, feeding 30.4 kids for an entire year.

When JumpFly employees hear that there is a need, they get right into charity mode to help those who are less fortunate than themselves. When JumpFly gives back, it creates a work community that loves to work together, whether it be a work day or a charity event. That warm feeling of giving back all year round keeps the team going!
