FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
April 30, 2015 – JumpFly was invited to attend Google’s Spring Workshop in New York, at Google’s Chelsea Market office. Nikki Kuhlman, one of JumpFly’s most experienced account executives, represented JumpFly at this educational event, where she was one of about 50 attendees. Participating in this workshop, along with various other valuable ongoing educational opportunities, demonstrates JumpFly’s continued drive to remain leaders in the PPC management industry. By keeping up to date with every feature available and best practices for maximizing results, JumpFly’s clients can rest assured that they continue to remain one step ahead of their competition. This Google workshop focused on three increasingly critical areas: mobile, remarketing & shopping.
The first thing covered was the increasing relevance of mobile and best practices to get the most out of mobile campaigns. Google shared various valuable facts and stats that confirm the need to pay attention to mobile. Best practices for maximizing results were passed along to all attendees, and in JumpFly’s case, passed along to all team members upon Nikki’s return. Google shared ways that ads can be improved and optimized for mobile users and discussed the current test they are running that includes the phrase “mobile friendly” in ads for websites that are indicated as such by Google.
The second portion of the event covered general remarketing and remarketing lists for search ads (RLSA). Various facts, figures and stats were shared that reinforced the need for and value of remarketing. For starters, on average, people visit a website six times before converting. Using remarketing to target all visitors as well as cart abandoners and actual converters makes sense and can prove tremendously valuable. RLSA, its value, and how to get the most from it was discussed in depth. Maximizing RLSA results requires a little bit of thinking outside the box, but can be quite successful when properly setup and managed.
The last thing covered was Shopping Campaigns and how to harness their monumental potential. Google shared valuable best practices for optimizing feeds and shopping results. Shopping is evolving quickly and proper campaign optimization can and will make the difference between failure and success. While there, JumpFly’s Nikki Kuhlman took particular interest in this segment of the workshop as she quickly realized the tremendous value that JumpFly could provide its clients by figuring out a way to improve the feed data without actually needing to change the feed. Upon Nikki’s return, Nikki helped JumpFly launch its own feed management solution that has already proven incredibly valuable for clients that are testing it out. Feed management is likely to be increasingly critical as Shopping Campaigns have proven valuable for many advertisers, offering both significant traffic and ROI.
